The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp at the federal level. It then gives states the opportunity to create the rules and regulations on growing hemp in their states. So every state will conform to the basics but then will have other items unique to each particular state so you have to make sure you know you won’t be breaking the law when you grow hemp.
