Plot
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a documentary television journalist whose work has been built on exposing the abuses of long-respected institutions. The exceptionally talented Russian blue cat at Ravenscroft’s house improvises all of her action and dialogue. In several episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium-length telephoto.
The films start off annoyingly and shaky, but slowly develop into an intriguing story
Such a lens would be incapable of focusing on close-up subjects, such as selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. I don’t know if Alfonso has an enemy on IMDB, which explains the brutal and unfair 1-star ratings, but they are completely inconsistent. .At first it doesn’t seem like a straight mystery, more like a tragic drama.
The cockroach situation is disturbing and telling
But you start to get the feeling that there is more to the story than the seemingly obvious good and bad characters. It gets darker and more complex with each episode. To the point where I felt like I had to come back here to change my original review and add stars.
Now for the gray cat
A minor detail, but this may be the first show I’ve ever seen that actually depicts a real cat/human relationship. How a cat is always there for you. Curious, mischievous, fun, and tender.
I hope he gets an Oscar!
I really appreciate a movie that doesn’t present the cat as a distant or even a dark presence. The gray cat in this movie has more charm than all the humans combined and steals every scene he’s in. It’s a great show and I’m all for it!
