He’s smart. He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas Jr., fills in for his father in some scenes, as the two look remarkably similar. Dexter, who is seen throughout the first season, has a large scar on his left side. Later, in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world, and I could see. Performed at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). This will be my very first review on IMDb, not a day goes by that I don’t go to IMDb to check the reviews of movies or TV shows that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and shows. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t sleep after watching a show. I’ve seen Prison Break, Heroes and many more. The first season of Prison Break and Heroes was great. They inspired me so much that I got tattoos on my body. However, these two shows fell apart as soon as they were picked up for the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment, but DEXTER… OMG, series after series, it’s starting to make me so curious about the next episode… damn season 4. I couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent my weekend watching the episodes one after the other. First of all, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) had his dark side off the charts, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he’s like that in real life, but then I realized that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real-life wife who plays his sister in this show. Damn, Debra is such a messed up character and is mostly controlled by the people around her, she always ends up doing something bad but always gets credit for the good things she does. I love the part where we find out what’s going through Dexter’s mind when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, and the part where he talks to his deceased father Harry. (He’s just wondering what his father would say in this situation). Every episode/character and every season is so well written and acted that it’s hard to find fault with them. My favorite characters are Dexter (obviously), Rita, and Vince Masuka, damn Vince is so funny he only says one word in the entire episode and it comes out so funny. I can’t wait to see season 5 and I’m sure anyone who has seen Dexter feels the same way I do. (I apologize if my first review has any mistakes and hurts anyone’s feelings)
